Please join us and enjoy the Minnehaha Regional Park and the MNACS picnic. Those with families are encouraged to bring them and see the park. Let’s take a break and take some time to get to know each other in an informal setting. Hope to see you there.
General info on Minnehaha Park:
“Minnehaha Falls and the land surrounding it became one of the first state parks in the United States when it was purchased by the state of Minnesota in 1889. Only New York had created a state park at that time.”
In addition to the Minnehaha Falls there is: Disc Golf at Wabun Picnic Shelter, Gardens (Longfellow Gardens, Minnehaha Falls Pergola Garden, and the Song of Hiawatha Garden); Historical Sites (Longfellow House, Princess Depot, John H. Stevens House); biking and walking trails; and we are between the Minnehaha Creek and the Mississippi River. In the Park Pavilion (near the Falls) is the Sea Salt Eatery.

Time: 4pm - 10pm; catered dinner will start at 6pm
Cost: $20 per member or adult guest / $5 for students or children over 3 years
Menu: (Mintahoe Catering) sliced smoked beef brisket, pulled pork carnitas, bakery fresh buns, bbq sauce packets. homestyle potato salad, fresh coleslaw, barbecue baked beans, fresh cut watermelon, picnic bars & cookies.Ice water and non-alcoholic drinks provided. Wine and beer are available at the Sea Salt Eatery in the nearby Minnehaha Park Pavilion (200-300 yards west by the falls).
