The Minnesota Local Section of the American Chemical Society is pleased to announce our upcoming event

The Magic of Chemistry

An event specially put on for mommy chemists to share their love of chemistry with their children while networking with other moms, dads, and professionals in chemistry!

Enjoy a magic-filled afternoon with your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, or any other children in your life. The magic show will open with a glowing chemistry act sure to amaze the audience, followed by many fun and safe tricks your little magicians can do on their own or with some help. There will be magic sand, color appearing chromatography butterflies, shape shifting, color changing milk, walking on “water” oobleck, and much more! For the intermission, free liquid nitrogen ice cream and other tasty concessions will be provide to keep the show going. During the first and second acts, there will be a fishing prize game and exciting door prizes so that the kids can bring some chemistry home.
